  Today is Mother's Day! 💐
  
  
  I'm not that close with my parents and we don't often go out together, but since Mother's Day only comes once a year, I did something unusual and took her out to eat! 🥩
  
  I actually wanted to go today on Mother's Day itself, but our days off didn't match, so we went yesterday instead 😸
  
  Of course, I told her from the start not to bring her wallet, as a way of saying thanks 🌷
  
  Until last year I hardly ate vegetables or salads at all, but now I'm a university student and an adult, so lately I've been trying to eat what's served even if it's something I don't like 🥺
  
  
  I've been feeling lately that becoming an adult means things like being able to tell your parents you appreciate them and learning to eat vegetables 🤔
  
  I'm not very good with words and I usually assume feelings come across without saying them, but I realize gratitude and apologies don't get through unless you actually say them. This year I want to make a point of expressing my feelings clearly in words‼️ Not just to my parents, but also to the brothers and friends who are always kind to me 🌟
  
  
  I didn't do much for my parents until high school, and now that I'm a university student with some freedom, I feel like I should repay the 18 years of kindness. I started talking seriously about it, which is unusual for me, and ended up writing a long post 😹
